Frequently Asked Questions

Who can be a delegate?

All delegates must be registered Democrats in the State of Florida. Any registered Democrat may register as a delegate in the county where registered or as a member of a state Democratic caucus. You must choose either a county or caucus to be affiliated with.

All interested attendees are required to submit the filing form and filing fee available at fdpconvention.com.

How do I register?

Delegate registration will be available online on fdpconvention.com from September 5 – October 6. Delegates must complete both the filing form and the filing fee via fdpconvention.com.

Delegate positions may be limited, so those interested in attending are encouraged to register early. On-site registration during State Convention weekend October 27-29 may be limited.

I'm listed as an Automatic Delegate. Do I have to submit a filing form and fee?

All delegates — whether elected, appointed, or automatic — MUST complete the filing form and submit the non-refundable $60 registration fee. The registration fee for students is $35.

What is the on-site registration process at State Convention?

Registration will take place at State Convention to ensure all qualified delegates receive their credentials. Registered Non-Delegates should also attend registration to receive their credentials. Credentials should be worn throughout the weekend. On-site registration as a Delegate or Non-Delegate may be limited. Please pre-register when possible.

What trainings and meetings will take place at State Convention?

The training and meeting schedule will be posted to fdpconvention.com when available and is subject to change.

How much is parking for the day?
